Your New Grover Profile: A Passport, Trophies, and Next Up

A ridge above town you found on a Tuesday. A forest road that turned into your favorite weekend. A night on BLM land so quiet you could hear the dog breathing. You've been collecting these for a while. Now your Grover profile collects them too.

The latest Grover app on iPhone and Android turns the old stats screen into a real profile. It has a passport of the public lands you've camped on, a trophy shelf that fills in as you go, and a short Next up list of what's almost yours. Tap any number on it and it opens whatever's behind it.

Your Passport: Where You've Camped

Every pin you drop on federal land now gets stamped with the land it sits on. That means BLM, national forest, national park, wildlife refuge, and Bureau of Reclamation land. Grover works that out the moment you save the pin, and it went back and stamped the pins you'd already dropped too.

Open your passport from the "Where I've camped" section and you get a real map with your pins and the federal land around them tinted in. Your stamps and your states sit above it. Tap a stamp to see that land unit and every pin you've dropped on it.

Try this: next time you drop a pin, fill in Nights here. Pick Passed through, 1, 2, or 3+. It's optional, and it's how your profile tells a lunch stop from a week you never wanted to end.

Trophies That Land When You Earn Them

Trophies used to show up eventually. Now they land the moment you earn them. Drop your first pin in a national forest and the Forest Stamp is yours before you've put the phone down.

There are 33 of them now, on six shelves: Miles on the Map, Terrain, Contribution, Community, Bucket List, and a brand new Public Land shelf. That last one is where the passport pays off, with trophies like BLM Stamp, Park Stamp, Five Agencies, State Hopper, and Ten Nights Out.

If you've been pinning for a while, you've probably already earned a few. We went back through everyone's pins and handed out what you'd already done.

Locked trophies stay on the shelf so you can see what's still out there.

Next Up: What's Close

Next up is a short list of the trophies you're closest to, with how far along you are. Something like "3 of 5." Each one comes with the thing to do about it, so you can tap and go do it.

Only you see Next up. It's a to-do list for your next trip, not a scoreboard. Grover will never nag you about it, and there are no streaks to keep alive.

Who Sees What

Your profile is yours to show off, and it's also yours to keep close. By default, strangers see your counts, your trophies, and your rig. Your passport details and your homebase are for people in a club circle with you. Nobody but you ever sees a pin's coordinates.

Your totals also show up on a delay for everyone else, a week by default. That way your profile never gives away where you're parked tonight. You can set the delay to none, a week, or a month.

Want to check? Open your profile and use Preview as… to see it the way a stranger or a club circle-mate would. Change any section in Who sees what.
