The last two Grover updates on iPhone and Android changed how the whole app feels. It's warmer, it takes on the colors of the circle you call home, and the map now does more of your planning for you: save campgrounds for later, chase this week's fall color, and build a trip out of pins you dropped years ago.
A Warmer Look, in Your Circle's Colors
Open Grover and it feels more like the inside of a good rig. Bright white is gone. In its place are warm linen and sand tones that sit easier on the eyes after a long drive, and a dark mode that won't blind you at the campfire.
If your home circle belongs to a brand you ride with, Grover now wears that brand's colors. Joined Grover through a builder's invite? Same thing. The app you open every morning looks like it belongs to your crew.
Save Any Campground to Your Bucket List, Right from the Map
You're scrolling the map on a rest day and spot a campground two states over that looks perfect for spring. Open it and add it to your bucket list. The same goes for Harvest Hosts and the other places Grover shows on the map.
When that spring trip comes together, the spot is already waiting, ready to drop into your route as a stop.
Chase the Fall Color
Peak color moves fast, and it never waits for your weekend. Turn on the fall color layer and this week's foliage forecast lights up the map, so you can find the ridge that's at its best right now and park under it.
Thanks to Explore Fall. The forecast comes from our friends at Explore Fall and updates through the end of this season. Once the leaves are down, the layer steps aside until the color comes back.
Build a Trip Faster
Your trips now live right where you add a new pin, with search for when the list gets long. Planning is one step closer to wherever you already are.
Adding stops got easier too. Search every pin you've ever dropped by name, by place, or by something you wrote in your notes, and scroll through all of them. That taco truck in Moab you swore you'd go back to? Search "taco" and it's on the route.
Also New
- Your Season Ticket is quicker to share: save it, text it, or send it straight to your Instagram or Facebook story.
- Notification settings now live in your settings, where you'd expect them.
- Getting more new places to go from one brand than you want? Mute just that brand's alerts and keep the rest.
- Places on the map now tell you where their information comes from.
